Product description
Tieguanyin or Ti Kuan Yin Oolong tea is a thing of beauty and folklore. Legend has it that a farmer once found the iron statue of the Goddess of Mercy in a derelict temple, and lit incense in honour of the goddess every day. One day, he dreamt the goddess told him that there’s treasure behind the temple. He looked for it and found a tea shoot that he nurtured into a full-grown tea bush so fragrant and sweet that it became his livelihood. So, when you sip this tea, you sip a bit of Chinese lore too.
