Product description
A blood red brew with an astringency beautifully balanced by a distinctive malty flavour, the Malawi Satemwa BP1 is a Fair-Trade tea unlike any other. Burnt umber in colour and rich and lively in taste, this tea is an embodiment of the world-renowned Satemwa estate quality.
Taste
Soothing and revitalizing, it’s a full-bodied brew with a muted, mellow flavour. Despite it being a black tea, this Malawi Satemwa is delicate and sweet, with a long finish and only a trace of that bitter-sweet black brew aftertaste.
It’s smooth, strong, but remarkably light and versatile. With a dash of milk to balance the sweetness and bring out the malty notes, this brew makes a fabulous breakfast or afternoon tea.
Caffeine Level
With anywhere between 27 mg to 35 mg per cup, the caffeine level in this positively delightful pekoe is relatively moderate.

Premium grade black tea.
Quality of Leaves
Broken Pekoe 1 (BP1) leaves processed using the Cut, Tear, Curl (CTC) method.

Who Is This Tea For?
