Description

Product description

Much like tea leaves, Yerba Maté leaves are harvested in their prime. Steamed, dried, sifted, and aged to yield the optimum flavour intensity, these leaves are high in mateine; like an Arabica coffee, but less earthy, grassier, and without the caffeine. Give it a go and see what all the fuss is about. Then come back again and again for your sweet cup of the yerba. Go on, we’ll wait.

Taste

This is a pick-me-up tea known across the world not so much for its taste, but more for its soothing effects. Mellow, bitter, earthy, and woody, this tea is warming and relaxing, despite its fragrant flavour.

Nowhere near as bitter as other green teas, it’s a pleasant and natural way to replenish with nutrients and recharge those batteries. Naturally ‘caffeinated’ with mateine, this stimulating brew will put you at ease and help you unwind without the highs and lows of caffeine.

Light and yellowish, this herby and subtly spicy nutrient-rich tea makes for a great all-round brew with a fragrance that gives away all its natural goodness.

Caffeine Level

Contains loads of mateine, but no caffeine. So, no jitters; just good vibes.

Ingredients

Premium grade Ilex paraguariensis leaves.

Where Does It Come From?

This tea comes to you all the way from Southern Brazil.

Who is this tea for?

People who have their daily energy shots religiously, but have a score to settle with caffeine.

It’s Also Known As:

Maté, Cherba Maté, Yerba Mate.
